Fed: Jetstar AWA push to lower safety, service - ACTU

The ACTU claims Qantas's decision to force long-haul cabin crew on its budget airline
onto individual agreements .. will jeopardise safety and service.

President SHARAN BURROW says crews at Qantas's budget airline .. Jetstar .. face losing
up to 160 dollars a week and working longer hours under AWAs.

But Jetstar chief .. ALAN JOYCE .. says the move's about bringing more flexibility
.. and not breaking the strong union involvement in Qantas operations.
