Vic: Man armed with baseball bat robs couple

MELBOURNE, Feb 18 AAP - Police are hunting a man armed with a baseball bat who robbed
a couple in Maribyrnong, in Melbourne's north western suburbs, last night.

The couple were walking to their car parked in Chifley Drive when their attacker approached
and demanded money and their mobile phones, around 9.30pm (AEDT), police said.

The victims handed over their belongings before the armed robber smashed their rear
window with the bat before he fled in a silver-soloured car.

The couple, who are in their 20s, were not hurt in the incident, police said.
