MELBOURNE, Jan 2 AAP - An elderly couple was killed instantly when their car and a
truck collided on a road east of Hobart this afternoon.

Police were yet to confirm the identity of the victims, who were turning out of Brinktop
Road onto the Tasman Highway at Sorell, 45km east of Hobart, when the accident happened
at 3.25pm.
